Terrot- Rules for the Game

The Board:
12 squares by 12 squares with a 6 by 6 square attack zone in the middle designated in a different color. The corner in which the chief starts is called the 'home square'.

The Pieces and movement:
All pieces start in opposite corners, lined up outside the attack zone.  The pieces all have the same pawn like shape, differentiated by the symbol on the top.  Two teams of consisting of the following pieces.
Chief (1)- Move two spaces in any direction but diagonal.
Negotiators (3)- Horizontal movement in any direction.
Elites (4)- Diagonal movement any number
Frontlinemen (6)- one space in any direction.

Objective:
Capture your opponent's home square, or capture all the pieces of your opponent.

Special rules:

  • Pieces can only be captured while in the attack zone.
  • If outside the attack zone, pieces get bumped toward the home square.
  • Items in the movement zone cannot kill items in an attack zone.
  • You cannot pass into and out of the attack zone in one movement.
  • Players that move from the attack zone into a piece directly adjacent to it push that player back two squares toward home base.
  • Attacks stop motion.
