MainFrame- A Matter of Transfer Comments

With a few people actually having read MainFrame, A Matter of Transfer now, I thought it'd be good to open this section for commentary.

Try to warn for spoilers if you've got some to toss in there ;)

Busy busy. I thought the book was pretty good. The biggest thing that annoyed me a bit as the stuff with the Anaki. It was just a little too guessable. To the point where its slightly annoying.

The Araki?

Mm, yes. I can see that. I recall having some fits about that one, particularly due to the challenge involved of having the characters around in the first place, and introducing this new concept. The hints needed to be a bit more subtle, perhaps. But hiding right out in the open sometimes works.

One of the criticisms I've heard regarding that whole matter is of these rather intelligent characters overlooking what appeared to be pretty obvious signs. To answer that, I'm headed back in time to show the reasons why matters turned out as they did. But there is a point in their "innocence" that I think most people choose to miss...or have not experienced.
